The 2026 Great British Pub Awards took place on the 23rd September at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds. The triumphant celebration of the pub sector, hosted by comedian Suzi Ruffell, saw The Tamworth Tap take home top honours as the winner of Best Beer Pub and overall Great British Pub of the Year.

Ed Bedington, editor of The Morning Advertiser, which organises the awards, said: “At a time when running a pub is more challenging than ever, it is hugely important we celebrate the people and businesses continuing to invest, innovate and create places that matter to their customers and communities.”

The Great British Pub Awards are about bringing together the very best in the pub sector for a night of inspiration, camaraderie, and well-earned recognition. Want to be part of the action next year? The Great British Pub Awards will re-open for entries in April 2027, ushering in a new wave of great British pubs. Tickets will go on sale next spring.
